Biography of Paul Brannan

Brannan analyzes high-resolution commercial satellite imagery to assess the status of nuclear industrial facilities and to locate previously unidentified nuclear sites. His imagery analysis has been cited by media sources such as The New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, Fox News, and NBC News. He has also provided research assistance for the calculation of global fissile material inventories.
Brannan has been with ISIS since 2004 and has co-authored numerous Issue and Imagery Reports. He is the co-author of the October 2007 USIP Working Paper: “Disabling DPRK Nuclear Facilities” and the 2010 Washington Quarterly article “Detecting and Disrupting Illicit Nuclear Trade After A.Q. Khan.”
